Windows 10 support is ending. Here’s what you need to do now

Support for Windows 10 is set to end in October 2025, but that doesn’t have to be the final curtain. With the extended security updates, you’ll continue to receive support for up to 10 systems for one year at no cost. It’s worth signing up if you plan to keep using Windows 10.

However, experts, including former Microsoft employee David Plummer, recommends you to take a further step. When support ends, Microsoft will likely remove the associated ISO file from its website.

PSA: You Should Start Compressing Videos on Your Phone

  • Videos consume a lot of storage due to high-resolution frames and audio data, especially in 4K or at high frame rates.
  • Uncompressed videos can quickly fill up your phone’s storage, slow down performance, and even cause issues with cloud services like Google Photos.
  • To reduce file size, use H.265 encoding, video compression apps, or desktop tools like HandBrake or VLC.
