Control Panel still exists 'for compatibility reasons,' but Microsoft is encouraging people to 'use the Settings app, whenever possible' since that will soon be the only option.

Windows Recall set for a return — when you can expect this controversial feature to appear

The AI-powered feature appears to be slowly getting ready for a return. In an announcement on the Windows blog, Microsoft announced that Windows Insiders — basically, beta testers for the company — will get access to a preview of Recall this October.

Billons of Chrome users at risk from hacker attacks — severe flaw exploited

Google is in the process of rolling out patches that address a high-severity security flaw in its Chrome browser. According to Google, this flaw has come under active exploitation in the wild.  

In Google's blog, they credit the Microsoft Threat Intelligence Center and the Microsoft Security Response Center for discovering and reporting the flaw on August 19.
